SirWay Ltd. signed a contract with the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour for the development of a GIS-based Road Maintenance Management System in Saint Lucia.
Current challenges include the lack of a Road Asset Management System, of up-to-date data from the road network, and of systematic maintenance planning processes.
The contract covered a six-year programme in which SirWay Ltd. developed Road Asset Management processes and a cloud-based Road Asset Management System together with the Ministry, with extensive capacity building and data collection. The system has since been delivered and is in long-term support.
